It chronicles the endurance and determination of two centenarian African American women who triumphed over prejudice and sexism. Form of Book Memories and anecdotes related directly by the two Delany sisters to journalist Amy Hill Hearth who then arranged the narratives chronologically in chapters. The chapters are grouped into seven parts, each with a short introduction by Hearth. Having Our Say Research On Tuesday we will be checking out our first novel, Having Our Say. In order to understand the people and the events that are discussed in the novel we will be doing an in-class research project. Step.. 1. Get into a group (of your choosing) with five other people. 2. Your group will be given a topic folder with five subtopic folders. Each person in the group needs to pick one subtopic folder. 3. Each student will read your article and find the information you will need to answer the 5 W questions. Take notes to share with other members of the group.
