2 TRW WCRS Link and Training Guides The link to access WCRS is To access the WCRS production server click “Connect to Windchill” The “Enter Network Password” box will appear. This is where you will enter your WCRS User Name and Password. (People Soft ID, address or one that was issued via .) To view any of the WCRS Training Guides. (Note: The “Getting Started Guide” will also be available and located below.

3 TRW WCRS Initial Set Up and Preference and Password change Select Facility from Change Facility Drop Down List (i.e. Plant) Select Function from Drop Down List (i.e. Job title) Change Password Utility (People Soft ID Or Address) Save to your desk top After completing first IPD a message box appears – choose “Grant Always” Upon users first visit to WCRS you must go to the home page and select My Profile to change your User Profile. (User can also change their existing Password.) User Preference and Password Utility If user has forgotten password and it needs to be reset, choose WCRS Password Rest from Enter your full address and your current WCRS ID. WCRS ID should be either your people soft or full address.

4 TRW How to use the Part Generator From your WCRS home page Choose the type of part you want to generate. Fill in your part information. All areas with an (*) are mandatory. Choose the number of parts you want to generate and press create parts. Production, CV, & DV parts will be created. To update an individual parts attributes press the update button. There is a personal clipboard which contains the parts that you have created by depressing the button.

5 TRW How to Create Engineering Request Document Create To create your ERD go the home page WCRS drop down and select your document. Fill in your part information. All areas with an (*) are mandatory. Attach drawings, documents, CI, or WCRS document to the appropriate attachment bar at the bottom of the screen (Must be in update mode). For drawing files format must be as follows: _A00 where the revision is the intended new level. Go to the tab at the top of the page to add parts to Part Submissions. Press Add Details button and follow the instructions to the left of the screen. Note: There is a copy function when you choose “Copy From submissions Already Made” located in the Source Selection. To complete your transaction and send to a PRA. Go your worklist and find the document you created and click on task. Enter any comments, select a PRA and choose Task Complete. This will remove from your worklist and send it to a PRA. Note: Right click and open in new window the link located in the center of the page and this will take you back to your document.

6 TRW How to Create a Markup From your WCRS home page choose “Search” option. Enter part number. Click on latest part revision. Click on latest released drawing (Note pending Erds and drawings will appear on the bottom of the Part Master. These are in various document pending states where you can perform a markup on a markup). Open your drawing which to launches into Spicer. Once you have performed your changes save file as XXXXXXXX_A00 as stated on slide 4.
