The need for being connected By Irum haroon And Mehwish

How servers is used  To share information with one and other computers, our computer must be connected to them.  We can do this in two steps.First we connect our computr to a very l;arge and powerful computer called server.  A server is uesd to store a lot of data and we can share the data, software, and hardware with other computers connected to the server.

Networks  A computer network is a network of computers and hard ware devices connected by wires.

Types of computer networks There are three main types of networks  Local Area Network (LAN):  LAN connect computer in same building.  LAN are in my school’s computer lab.

Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)  MAN combines two or more LANs.it connect in different parts of city.  MANs are found in my quetta city

Wide Area Network (WAN)  WAN combines LAN and MANs.it connect computer in different cities.  Through MANs we connects with Karachi.

Why we need to be connected  We need to be connected. Because we can share information through out the world.  We can send pictures,  videos, text through internet.
