 The date of St. George's day comes from the church calendar is April 23 but when the date falls too close to Easter, the day of st george day is moved. By example in 2011 the feast of St. George was the Holy Saturday so st george day was moved to Monday, May 2, Similarly, in 2014, April 23 will be the Wednesday of Easter week, and feast of St. George's will be held Monday, April 28.

 St George England Day is celebrated in Canada, Portugal, Greece, Georgia, Serbia, Romania and Bosnia Herzegovina. St George's Day celebrated in Moscow as Russia, Genova in Italy, Ljubljana in Slovenia 
