Code of Chivalry Encourage students to find value in honesty and hard work and to be responsible for their success. If there is a problem: I work it out with the student. If a problem continues, I will contact parents through e mail or a phone call and we will work out a solution as a team. Safe school violations and bullying may receive discipline tickets.

20 minutes of reading at least five nights a week. The more reading the better! Practice spelling and vocabulary words. Students will be doing 2 book reports this year 1. Character Can book report: Due the end of term 1 2. Cereal Box book report: Due the end of term 3. Watch for handouts with instructions.
Students can bring a store bought treat to share with the class. We have 28 students. Summer birthdays: Choose a special day to send a store bought treat and we will celebrate it at your convenience. If you are unable to send a treat, please let me know. I would be happy to provide one. Students receive a small gift from me and sit in the throne for appropriate times during the day.
Parents can sign up to bring a healthy snack for the class once a month to have during the long afternoon journey. Watch for a sign-up note from our volunteer coordinator.
Second year with Math program A brief word about the Mountain Reading Wonders Watch for a weekly handout with Overview Spelling City Spelling and vocabulary practice and testing done Games No Practice tests accepted for Final.
Students will need to log in with their password from last year and it will automatically transfer them to out class. This is a great place for recording minutes and should be recorded at least once a week.
Entire 3 rd grade participates We need 1 coordinator from each class and MANY volunteers. We will let you know when the first meeting is. See sign up sheet.

Watch for the flyer at the beginning of each month. Link on my website to order online When a parent orders online, we get $3.00 per parent to buy books for the classroom library. Students can, of course, still order by turning in the form and check or money order in to me.
