What to expect at a Higher Education Convention Presenter: Date:

What is a Higher Education (HE) convention ? A unique event involving universities, colleges and other organisations who offer learning through work opportunities Conventions are events that are delivered by SDS in partnership with UCAS An opportunity to attend talks and presentations A chance to speak face to face with key organisations at the one time in the one place Start preparing your questions now and developing your horizons and networks

Who is it for?  Aimed at those intending to access higher education via university, college and more non traditional routes  Universities and Colleges will look for you to be sitting at least: 3-5 highers for university applications 1-2 highers for college (HNC or HND) applications  This is an opportunity to clarify expectations… Remember grades are important but so are activities you do outside of school.  Parents and Carers are welcome to attend.
