Visit to the United States of America  This will be the first time Pope Francis has ever visited the U.S.A  Arrives on Tuesday, Sept. 22 nd in Washington, D.C.  On Sept. 23, 2015 he will preside at the Canonization Mass of Junipero Serra.  This will be the first canonization ever held on U.S. soil.  The service will be held at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

Continued….  On Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 he will address a Joint Session of Congress at the U.S. Capital  He will fly out to NYC in late afternoon  On that evening he will preside over Evening Prayer at St. Patrick Cathedral in NYC  On Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 he was address the United Nations General Assembly

Continued…  On Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 he will arrive in Philadelphia, PA  That evening he will preside at a Prayer Vigil with World Meeting of Families  On Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 he will hold a meeting with the U.S. Bishops.  Bishop Mark Seitz will be in attendance  Papal Mass will be held for World Meeting of Families  Later that evening he will depart for Rome
