Items for Discussion (cont.) 2. Target Registry (11179 Ed.2 and Ed.3) –Korea Suggestion : We need to maintain the current scope of SQL/MM-8 and keep developing its 1st edition. Then, after ISO/IEC rd edition is standardized, we’d better revise the 1st edition of SQL/MM-8. The reasons we made such decision are follows: ISO/IEC rd edition is under development SQL/MM-8 can be easily revised to cover the 3rd edition of ISO/IEC The others such as the parts of ISO/IEC are based on ISO/IEC (ed. 2) 4
