Numbre of Students There are 450 students in François Rabelais' middle school

Buildings and Structures There are around 40 classrooms in our school. We've got three computer labs and two science labs. There is a gymnasium, a canteen and a schoolyard too.

School Subject In our middle school, we study: French, math, History, Science,English, Physical education,musical education, Spanish or Italian, phisic, technologie, art, Latin and biology.

School Calendar French students start school in september whereas American students start in August. We have one week holidays than American students.

School Transport We take the bus at half past seven to go to school and at half past four to go home !

A typical day We take the bus to go to school and start class at eight o'clock. For example we have French class at nine o'clock on Friday. Our lunch break is at noon : some of us have lunch at the school cafeteria whereas others go home for lunch. Lunch break during thirty minutes for us and one hour for our.We finish at half past three.

Extra-curicular activities In our middle school, we can practice some activities: school choir, hiking, badmington, basketball, poetry club, manga club, newspaper club...

Exam end of the school At the end of the school, we have to take an examination who is the brevet, we pass an exam to French, Math, history and history of the music. Unlike American students, we don't have a special party to celebrate the end of school !!
