Introduction  The Rainbow Lorikeet is a bird.

Description  It has green wings, tail and back.  Its head and belly are blue.  It has a bright red beak.

Food  It eats fruit, plants, flowers, pollen, seeds and insects.

Habitat  The Rainbow Lorikeet lives in Australia.  It nests in a hollow limb.

Behaviour  Its call is a loud screeching and chattering noise.  The eggs are laid on chewed, decayed wood.

Interesting Fact  Rainbow Lorikeets are found in Croppa Creek.
