Today’s Objective: TSWBAT create a personal coat of arms AND explain the symbolism of their chosen elements.

What is a Coat of Arms? Coats of arms were developed in the Middle Ages so knights could determine friend or foe on the battlefield. Over time, coats of arms became a symbol of a certain family.
