GIVING The Power Of

2 Corinthians 9:6 6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

# One Sowing and reaping is both a natural and spiritual principle and it will work for anyone who uses it, Christian or not. This IS NOT twisting God’s arm, for He has already given everything; but this is how we exercise our faith to receive.

2 Corinthians 9:7 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

#Two In giving, we grow from just obeying a command, to imitating God and finally to maturity, where we give cheerfully out of love, and this pleases God. Motive is everything, NOT amount. Giving due to pressing needs or after being cajoled is amateur giving!

2 Corinthians 9:8 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

#Three God is able to make: All Grace – Diverse kinds of grace abound to you… All Times – always, that you have… All Sufficiency – an abundant supply of… All Things – everything you need… All Good Work – to accomplish all God’s dreams in you!

2 Corinthians 9: Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.

#Four God abundant supply is divided into two categories: seed and bread. Bread is a finished product, but seed is a root product. Everything we have is to be used two ways, consumption and giving. Of the two, the only part God multiplies is what we give.

2 Corinthians 9: For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, 13 while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men

#Five Giving obviously helps meet other people’s needs. It also helps people focus their hearts on God in thanksgiving. Every time we give anyone anything, they see the grace of God; they see God’s love in action. Action is the key word!

2 Corinthians 9:14 14 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you.

# Six The quickest and most effective way to recruit willing intercessors is to give! Every time we give someone anything, we’ve just occupied a certain corner in their heart and mind. You will never be forgotten when you give.

2 Corinthians 9:15 15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

#Seven Words cannot even start to describe what God has given us! God gave us the very best in Christ and having done that, nothing will stop Him from giving us all else! It is more blessed to give than to receive, that’s why He is a most blessed God. YOU WILL NEVER OUTGIVE GOD. TRY!!
