What does it mean to Excel? It means to be distinguishable by superiority, surpass or exceed others. An example is Isaac who displayed the power or virtue of courage as he listened and acted on divine directives.

What is Courage? It means “mental or moral strength to venture, persevere and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.” Courage is that inner strength that drives us to greatness in spite of the fears, difficulties and challenges of life (Ossai-Ugbah, 2014).

What is Courage? “Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear – not absence of fear.” - Mark Twain

A courageous person is one who takes on his responsibilities head on without fear of failure, but rather develops strategy to conquer the fears.
