About Viljandi Viljandi is a town in Estonia, 160 km south from the capital Tallinn. The town is the administrative capital of the county with the same name as the town.
Population: (2000. a census) Area: 14,6 km². In Estonia Viljandi is the sixth largest town which is especially known for its beautiful nature and rich cultural life.
Viljandi Is a Green Town. Lot of parks, lakes, ponds, small streams and garden suburbs make Viljandi a cosy and friendly place. Here you can see squirrels every day, in early morning- hours you can met fox in the park or rabbits hopping around.
Ruins of the Order Castle Among the most spectacular architectural sights in Viljandi today are the ruins of a medieval Order castle.
Viljandi Old Water Tower Viljandi old water tower - symbol of town - is a 30 metre-high building with a red brick foot and a wooden octagon tank room from 1911 th.
