QR code is a specific Matrix code which is only readable by special QR readers for barcodes or cameras for mobile phones. The barcode consists of black modules set in square against a white background. The information in it can be read as a text, URL and others. The most popular smartphone models have specific aps-readers for these codes. Many companies use them as an easy way to create links to a specific Internet address.

Popping is a dance style born in the 70’s, part of the funk dances. It is based on the flexing of the muscles in chest, arms, legs and shoulders in order for a fast, sudden motions to be re-created. The motions and techniques used in the popping are used so that there is a stark contrast in the re-created figures – robot-like or a wave. The body should stay up-straight although the performer should sometimes lay really low so a certain step can be performed.

Hip-hop is a cultural movement born in the 60’s and 70’s in New York City, mainly among the African-americans. In itself hip-hop include 4 elements: DJing, graffiti, break- dancing and rapping. Out of them stemmed also the hip-hop fashion, the beatboxing and a certain slang. The roots of the hip-hops music lay in the African-American music and in particular performers like The Last Poets and Gil-Scott Heron which prominence came just after the end of the Civil rights movement. Hip-hop reflects the culture of the street. The young street fighters do not carry guns anymore, just a pair of sneakers and some nice moves. To dance hip-hop means that you should have an enormous will to fight.
