What do you know?  9/11/01 Terrorist attacked the United Sates using our own commercial passenger jets  Targets were the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and possibly the White House or Capital building  Organized by Osama Bin Laden and the Al- Qaeda terrorist network  Almost 3,000 lives lost in New York, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania  346 firefighters, police officers, and port authority officers gave their lives attempting to rescue trapped people

9/11/01 Global Impact  A U.S. coalition with British, Canadian, Danish, Australian, French, German, Italian, Norwegian forces, and support from the Netherlands and New Zealand, attacked terrorist locations in Afghanistan on October 7, 2001 in retaliation  Looking to destroy all Al-Qaeda terrorist training camps and ultimately Osama Bin Laden
