THE GODDESS OF LOVE …VENUS ALSO …JUPITER the STRONGEST GOD OF THEM ALL Venus is the Roman goddess of love, beauty and helping things grow!! Jupiter is the chief of all gods!! BY IZZY WEST!!!

Facts about Venus Venus is the Goddess of love, beauty and gardens. Venus was apparently pictured as being born out of a wave, you could say she looked like an ‘ocean spray’. Some of the Romans thought of Venus being similar to a Greek god called ‘Aphrodite’. Also the Roman name for Friday is ‘dies Venerdi’ which is the day of Venus. In Italian, Friday is ‘Venerdi’. Romans thought that Venus was quite like the Greek goddess ‘Aphrodite’. People sacrificed to Venus when people wanted to give birth.

Pictures of Venus!!! statue of Venus!

Jupiter was the chief of the gods for all the Romans. All of the Romans usually thought of Jupiter as a part of three gods, (Jupiter), Juno and Minerva. As stated to the Roman myth, Jupiter was the king of all the gods. People seem to have gotten the idea from the Etruscans. A lot of Etruscan and Roman temples were dedicated to all three of the gods (Jupiter, Juno and Minerva. Jupiter seems to come from Ju-pater, which means ‘Ju-the father’ in the language of Latin. Facts about Jupiter!!

Pictures of Jupiter!! Statue of Jupiter!

Similarities between the Roman god Jupiter and the Greek god Zeus!! The Greek god Zeus and the Roman god Jupiter have a lot in common. Both of them were apparently married to their sisters. They both were also fond of their children, the children had magical powers. Jupiter and Zeus had more powers than any other god. Both of them shape shift. Also they could look like any mortal or animal Jupiter or Zeus choose. They threw lighting bolts and they both loved their flying horse Pegasus.

HOPE YOU ENJOYED MY SLIDESHOW!!! About the Goddess Of Love…Venus! And the Strongest God Of Them … Jupiter! BY IZZY WEST!!!
