Photoshop Exercise check 3 Disco JPG’s (no requirement) All below should have GOOD histograms, JPG’s: 3 Raw Conversions Baby, Dog (class examples) Levels, Curves (your own photos) These should be PSD’s with duplicate layers: Couple (class example) Retouch (your own photo) ALL OPEN IN PHOTOSHOP! (NOT BRIDGE)
Photoshop Studio Assignment Go to today’s date on the schedule on my website. Find where it says Image 1, 2, and 3 and 4 and right-click on the number 3 and choose “Save Target As.” Save to the desktop. Do the same with 4. (3 and 4 go together) Use Photoshop’s File Browser to open the two image files for today:
Use the Move tool to copy one of the images into the other file. Use Edit Free Transform (HOLD DOWN THE SHIFT KEY!) to resize, if necessary. Use what you learned today to make an interesting and aesthetically-pleasing digital photo composition. Make sure to use LAYER MASKS whenever appropriate. Use a Levels adjustment layer to “fix” any exposure issues. Save your composition as a.PSD file called “bigleague.psd” in your Photoshop Studio Assignments folder. Then work on two of your own images repeating the steps in YELLOW. To create a similar composition of your own Save this as mycomposition.psd Photoshop Studio Assignment
