VEGETATION On the highest peaks, there isn`a lot of vegetation.We find mostly grasslands and low bushes. On mountain slopes, we can find evergreen forest with pine and fir trees. There are also some deciduous trees, like chestnuts and oaks.

ANIMALS The most significant mammal species in Spain´s are roe deer, chamois, mouflon and montains goats. We also find birds of prey, such as Griffin vulture, the imperial eagle and bearded vulture, or quebrantahuesos.
