Intermittent Feeding Delivery can be defined into 10 time periods (from 0 to 9). Set TIME and VOLUME for each period e.g. to pause the pump for 45 mins. between two delivery periods TIME: 45 min. VOLUME: 0 ml Delivery ends when the last period is completed.

CYCLE Function How to activate the CYCLE function: Simply click CYCLE Key on the control panel. Once the pump completes intermittent periods, it will restart delivery from first period. CYCLE Function Repeat preset delivery periods. This function is only activated under Intermittent Delivery Mode.

Operation Guide Preparation before delivery Attach feeding pump to IV pole and have the pump set ready. Open pump set package and take set out from pouch. Close roller clamp completely. Fill bag with desired volume of nutrient. Close bag by securing cap. Hang bag above and to side of the pump. Load pump set properly onto the feeding pump according to the following 4 steps.

Proper loading of the feeding set in 4 easy steps. Insert the drip chamber firmly into the pocket on the front of the pump. Make sure it is properly seated.

Step 2: Gently wrap tubing around pump wheel, following the direction shows on the rotation label

Step 3: Slightly pull up the tubing and insert the white tube sensor to the sensor receptacle, and make sure it is firmly seated. Tube Sensor

Step 4: Wrap the tubing around the tube holder on the top of the sensor receptacle. Tube holder Follow these four steps and verify the feeding set is properly loaded before starting a delivery.

Start delivery Turn on power switch to activate feeding pump Press ON/OFF key to turn on pump and enter into main menu. Press ENTER/SET to enter delivery setting menu. Press Arrow Key to set desired flow rate; press ENTER/SET key to confirm rate setting and enter into volume limit setting. Press Arrow Key to set desired volume limit; press ENTER/SET key to confirm setting and return to main menu. Open roller clamp on pump set, and remove tip protector from feeding adaptor. Press PURGE key to prime pump set and expel air and occlusions out of the tubing. Connect set to patient’s enteral feeding tube. Press START/STOP key to start delivery.
