For us in the northeast, there are the four seasons

The northeast is also home to the Appalachian Mountains

In the northeast, the Atlantic Ocean borders most of the states.

There are other regions in the United States. For instance there is the great northwest.

The great northwest is known for its large mountains and oft time rainy weather.

Another region in America is the Midwest, with its flat lands, corn, wheat and other grain fields

Canada is another country found on the continent of North America. It is to the north of the United States.

North and South America make up half the world, a hemisphere. It is known as the Western Hemisphere.

North America is part of the Northern Hemisphere. This is true of any country north of the equator.
