Redrafting the Small Scale research Project

Objectives To refresh our familiarity with the marking criteria To apply the marking criteria to our own and our partner’s work and identify areas for improvement To set ourselves a specific target for redrafting our own work over half term

The Catalogue 1.Is the source primary or secondary? 2.How was it useful to your research – e.g. did it provide : Factual information Useful opinion Counter-opinion to or confirmation of another source Appropriate quotations

Is the source… Reliable? Opinion? Factual? Academic? Popular? A different medium from other sources?

From a Project comparing portrayals of James Bond by different actors Item 10: Southbank show interview JKDs an interview on the Southbank show with Sean Connery and Daniel Craig expressing their opinions on the physicality of James bond. Which led to me being able to make comparisons about the two? JKDs

Item 10: Southbank show interview zfVd-JKDs an interview on the Southbank show with Sean Connery and Daniel Craig expressing their opinions on the physicality of James bond. Which led to me being able to make comparisons about the two? zfVd-JKDs Proofread for grammar, etc From when?

Item 10: Southbank show interview Vd-JKDs an interview on the Southbank show with Sean Connery and Daniel Craig expressing their opinions on the physicality of James bond. Which led to me being able to make comparisons about the two? Vd-JKDs The reason for its inclusion is sound, though the explanation could be more detailed

Item 10: Southbank Show interview, 2006 ttp:// an interview on the Southbank Show with Sean Connery and Daniel Craig expressing their opinions on the physicality of James Bond. The two actors contrast their portrayals in detail and link them to the requirements of the changing times of production. This led to me being able to make comparisons about the two and was a particularly important primary resource. ttp://

Referencing books – note title, author, publisher, date Item 13: Daniel Craig Ultimate Professional – Daniel O’Brien, Reynolds & Hearn LTD 2007 This book had a whole chapter on James Bond, which provided me with information on some of the other candidates for the role of Bond and why Craig was considered appropriate. The book also considers criticism from the press and fans, which gave me different perspectives. The book also uses interviews and facts from other sources, giving me a better insight and led me to other research material. This was a valuable secondary resource.

Items not used (From a project analysing the auteur characteristics of the Coen Brothers) Items not used although this site is helpful, there are far more specific sights out there which could benefit me better. this is another fan site for the Coen Brothers it’s just less detailed than the over so seemed pointless to use it. Overall The Coen Brothers are quite easy to come across with all their books, articles written about them and even a couple of their own fan sites. There were several sources, such as these that were more gushing fan worship than analysis. My used resources were selected for relevance and detail.
