Sam Devon Said. What is Solar Energy  Solar energy is the most basic energy there is.  Solar radiation causes the photons of light to excite the electrons.
 Solar energy is energy given off by the sun that stores solar cells. Solar energy gives us electricity so we don’t have to use coal, and we don’t pollute.
Most people have definitely heard a lot of things about solar installations but they keep wondering whether there are any tangible benefits for them.

Presentation transcript:

STUDENTS: Marcos, Ainoa, Raúl, Marta and Paula. R ENEWABLE ENERGY

Unlimited natural resources Low-pollution High investment Visual impact

The commitment of our region The aim is to encourage the use of renewable energy, protect the environment from pollution and try to raise awareness of the importance of energy conservation.

Why wind energy? Because we have: -important wind resources -a very favorable legislation, -high technological competitiveness, -and high expectations of profitability, For the reduction of polluting emissions

“Wind energy YES, but we don’t want it at any price, anywhere, or in any way” Some disadvantages

Why solar energy? For the potential availability in our environment, due to its high solar radiation To introduce innovations. For the benefit and support of public institutions.

Why solar energy? Wide variety of applications Signaling, communication and specific applications Agricultural applicationsHousehold electrification and services Power generation for distribution networks

PROBLEMS OR DISADVANTAGES OF SOLAR ENERGY The purchase cost is high because this PV system is used by few people. It has certain limitations with respect to consumption and it cannot be used in periods where there is no sun. Finally one of the biggest problems for people is the aesthetics. They do not like their houses with solar panels.

CONCLUSIONS Photovoltaic or solar energy is the most profitable in the Valencian Community, as we have about 274 sunny days a year. We also use the wind as wind gusts blow over 45 km / h.
