Weetamoo Heart of the Pocasett By Luke Montgomery

Praying for EVERYTHING As you may have noticed by now, the natives prayed for almost everything you can imagine. They prayed during the day, at night, before every meal, and before and after every hunt.

Hunting… There were many tools that they used other than just the old bow and arrows, they used spears for large pray and fire to draw animals out of hiding and basically right into their hands. There was also more things that only a few tribes used like clubs, snares and nets that were also very helpful and hopefully self explanatory.

What they Did they do for fun? Answer: hunting, singing, Native American children (Sioux particularly) played games that aided in their future as a scout or hunter. Feasts would be held for many such reasons which would include eating (obviously) and yes lots of praying.
