The Western Region By: Audrey Geib

States included in my region:

The climate of my region is winter high , lows and summer high and lows

Major land forms in the west region are plateaus and mountains

Natural resources from the west region are copper and gold!

A famous person from Hawaii is Kaahumanu, a Hawaiian Queen.

There are fun places to visit in the West region like Washington to see our President and Colorado because you can ski there!

Fun Facts 1.Hawaii was named from its discoverer Hawaii Loa. 2.Nevada was named because it is Spanish for “snow covered”. 3.Utah was named because it means “ people of the mountains”
