HK under Japanese Occupation

1.I would like to attack from the New Territories. It was because HK was safety from the protection of Victoria Harbour and there were not enough airports for landing. Besides, there was a well-developed railway network from China to Hong Kong. 2a. It showed that the Japanese were marching in a street of Hong Kong. The year of 1941 showed the period of Japanese Occupation and the event was taken place in HK.

2b. It was taken place in Hong Kong in c. People were living a life of fear. People were forced to do labouring work. People also did not have enough food to eat and they were forced to change their currencies into military notes. 2d. It would like to join the guerrilla group in HK to expel the Japanese out of HK. (free answers)

The Japanese wanted the change rthe street names in the HK island into Japanese name in order to erase the past British rule in HK. a. The poster was belonged to the period of Japanese Occupation ( ) b. The government wanted to impose the public health of HK people by encouraging them to do more exercises. It showed that every aspects of HK people was under the Japanese control.

It was hard and difficult. From the picture, the people could only buy 6.4 taels of rice per day in which it shows that they did not have enough food to eat. The people were thin and pale that provides another clue.
