El Presente Perfecto Spanish 3 CRHS

The Present Perfect The present perfect is the verb tense used to say someone HAS DONE something. Examples: I have eaten, We have seen In Spanish, this tense requires a form of the verb “Haber” and a present participle.

Forms of HABER he hemos has habéis ha han

The Present Perfect After the correct form of “haber”, you will need to add a past participle. You DO NOT change the participle to match the subject because it is not being used as an adjective! Example: She has eaten  Ella ha comido. (not comida!)

Practice with The Present Perfect I have seen the movie. Sarah has gone to France. They have taken the medicine. We have eaten junk food. Yo he visto la película. Sarah ha ido a Francia. Ellos han tomado la medicina. Nosotros hemos comido la comida basura.
