CEREAL TEST Trying different tests on cereal

STARCH TEST  1 st I took cereal, mashed it into a powder and put it in a test tube  2 nd I put water and iodine solution and mixed it together  3 rd I put a little water into it Result: the solution turned black Conclusion: starch is present

PROTEIN TEST  1 st I took cereal, mashed it to a powder and put it in a test tube  2 nd I took biuret solution A and biuret solution B and added it to the test tube Result: turned dark blue Conclusion: protein is present

FAT TEST  1st I took cereal and mashed it into a powder  2 nd I rubbed it onto a filter paper Result: if you hold the paper up to the light, it turns translucent Conclusion: cereal contains fat

HOW IS CEREAL GOOD FOR OUR BODY?  Cereal is full of carbohydrates which gives us energy  Milk contains calcium which gives you strong hair, teeth and bones  Fiber helps you swallow food  Protein helps you grow
