Lungs and Trachea By: Tori

The Lung’s Location The lungs are located at your chest. Your lungs are what you use to breath. When you breath in, oxygen comes in. When you breath out it lets out gases that your body does NOT need. (carbon dioxide)

Interesting Facts About The Lungs When you smoke your lungs get infected and then it turns into cancer. Your lungs ARE NOT the same size. Your lung on the left is a bit smaller than the lung on the right. In the middle is where your heart is located.

The Trachea’s Location Your trachea is located in your throat. When you breath the air goes down your trachea then it leads to the lungs. If you swallow food down your trachea then it would go into your lungs and that would NOT be good.

Interesting Facts About The Trachea Your trachea is also called the windpipe. It helps you breath. At the bottom of the trachea or windpipe, there are two large tubes known as the Bronchial Tubes.

The Air Sacs and Bronchial Tubes Functions The bronchial tubes help you breathe. Your bronchial tubes lead to the lungs. The air sacs is where the air goes. Then the blood meets the air at the air sacs. The air sacs are covered by blue and red blood vessels.

The heart is a like a pump that makes blood flows in your body. The heart is in the circulatory system. It is between the lungs.

Your heart is an organ. Your heart has beaten about 1 billon times. The heart doesn’t take a break.

It’s in the shape of a pear. *There are 4 main parts in the heart. *There are left and right atrium and ventricle. *Blood comes in the atrium. Blood goes out the ventricle. Blood cells coming Out and in the heart
