Life and traditional Masai tribe

Hello! My name is Yacari and I am of Masai tribe. I will present my story lifes and the tribal traditions

Africa's Masai number amounts to approximately 1,000,000 of which 350,000 to 500,000 live in Kenya

Masaii are part of the Nilotic group who came from the south and is dominated by Bantu population, after the year 1550 masaii probably came from Sudan. Nilotic peoples group are: Acholi Anywak Bari Dinka Karimojong Kalendschin Lango Lotuko Luo Masai Nandi Nuer Schilluk

They believe in god "Ngai" rain god who has his throne on Mount Kilimanjaro and which gave earthlings animals, which is why I think all pastors masai must be rustlers. Masai believe they are entitled to take even by force other peoples cattle.

Masai speak language Nilotic which is akin Samburu language, this groups are called language maa (language masai)

People masai are known as a warrior people who deal growth cattle. Masai culture is anchor of growth the of cattle.

Masai used feces from animals to build houses. The interior is very dark because the windows are reduced to a small hole, Masai use fire to cook food.

Masaii can have as many wives will, buy them from their families in exchange for 20 to 40 cattle. Men are privileged.

Maasai music is traditionally on rhythms provided by a chorus of vocalists singing harmonies while a lead singer, or olaranyani, sing the melody.

The dance is represented by jumping, the young masais (Moran), demonstrating their power by jump height.
