History History The Mayflower The name of the ship that brought English Separatists to America came from England, was called the Mayflower. The Pilgrims came to America and the Mayflower stopped in Plymouth Massachusetts. In 1620 the Mayflower left England, in search of religious freedom. There were 102 passengers and a crew of 25–30 people. 1

Economy Economy Lowell Mills 2 The history of the Lowell begins in the Industrial Revolution in America. In the early 1800's America started to hire women for mills. In 1812, Francis Cabot Lowell returned with a vision of a co community dedicated to textile production using new mechanical power looms. With the help of mechanic Paul Moody, power looms were created in America. 3

Northeast weather Northeast weather They have all four seasons It is cool and hot in summer and very cold in the winter. Average July temperature is 70 degrees. If you are by the mountains it is snowy on the peaks. The average precipitation is 46inches a year. This includes rain and snow.

The population effects the natural recourses of the northeast What we think : We think that there are few jobs for a lot of people. There are some jobs because of new York city. What we know: The trees are slowly being cut down because paper. We need paper but the trees are all gone we cant breathe.
