Quaternary industries The Science Park on Technology Drive in south Bridgend is a good example of this sector “LogicaCMG is a major international force in IT services and wireless telecoms. Summary ► You should now appreciate that there are three main categories of employment type. ► A fourth, hi-tech, quaternary sector can also be added. ► Some organisations are involved in more than one employment sector. ► Employment structures will vary over time. Generally there is a decrease in primary and an increase in tertiary activities.
