Economic Tourism The idea behind economic tourism is to aid in the economic growth of a particular region. The idea behind economic tourism is to aid in the economic growth of a particular region. The whole idea behind it is to bring in a lot of $money$ The whole idea behind it is to bring in a lot of $money$ The most significant form of tourism that supports economic growth is recreational tourism – because it is a form of mass tourism, attracting millions of people/year.
