 thin, round body  smooth skin  have bilateral symmetry  many colors

 in humans, plants and animals  saltwater and freshwater  in muddy places  live on land and water  found between polar regions and tropical regions

 bacteria  fungi  food found in soil  some eat blood from humans

 when animals eat them they have an easy trail to food  they search through the soil  look in the water

 if something eats a roundworm they will get a very bad disease. This could kill the predator.

 a roundworm can lay up to 200,000 eggs a day for at least 10 months  There are 12,000 species of roundworms  another name for roundworms are nematodes  roundworm eggs live in the soil  roundworms are parasites  can range from microscopic size to 3 feet long
