What is an alternative fuel? -any non-fossil fuel -some examples are biodiesel, ethanol, chemically stored electricity, or solar energy

Biofuels fuel derived from recently dead biological material.

Types of Biofuels Ethanol: A corn based fuel that can be used in most common engines. Biodiesel: A non-petroleum based diesel fuel that is made through a process of changing the organic compounds of vegetable oil

The Benefits of Using Biofuels They can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help lessen the danger of global warming to our environment By not using petroleum, they will eliminate the threat of oil spills
