What is Sorghum Flour 100% Gluten Free All Natural Product Low Glycemic Lowers Cholesterol Improves Cardiac Health High in Antioxidants Flour substitute in all recipes

Background Began in late ‘60’s in California. Moved to current location in Milwaukie, Oregon in the late ‘70’s. 320,000 square foot facility on 17 acres. Gluten free manufacturer for 30 years.

Current Geographic Span Products in 600 stores in Texas. ▫1/3 of those stores carry sorghum flour. Focus on the North Texas area. Mainly available online. ▫Beneficial for bulk orders.

Objectives Create Product Awareness. ▫Partner with a well known and trusted corporation. ▫Create a new product. Improve Marketing. ▫Utilize social media. ▫Sponsor/ Donate to awareness organizations. Increase Product Distribution. ▫Build relations with North Texas grocers..

Benefits Less hassle for consumers. Expanded consumer base. Creation of product awareness. Growth in revenue from sorghum flour.

Division of Responsibilities Company Responsibilities: ▫Assign a committee or board for monthly meetings. ▫Provide bi-weekly paycheck, insurance, and safety training for all new employees. ▫Providing all finances backing for the project.

Division of Responsibilities Project Manager Responsibilities: ▫Overseeing all of the work done by the newly hired employees. ▫Supervising time management, and keeping deadlines. ▫Responsible for reporting to the assigned committee or board on all project updates. ▫Managing the budget.

Budget Summary CategoryCost Personnel $ 55, Travel $ 20, Donations $ 6, Sales $ 2, Fringe $ 11, Total Budget Costs: $ 94,000.00

Justification Personnel $ 55, This includes a full time sales person to build a partnership with a corporate company and with grocers across North Texas, and a two person research and product development team to work with the new partner to create a new product incorporating both companies’ products. Also includes a part time internship responsible for working with the current marketing team to update social media networking. All positions on a one year salary. Travel $ 20, Covers all travelling done by personnel to build a corporate partnership, and to do research and develop a new product with the new partner, along with travelling to stores across North Texas to build relationships. Total includes overnight stay, fuel and meals. Donations $ 6, Donations of a minimum of $2000 to each awareness organization. Including the Celiac Awareness Foundation, American Diabetes Association, and the American Heart Association. Sales $ 2, Funds needed to host sales presentations and dinner meetings, and materials needed. Fringe $ 11, This amount would cover any overhead expenses; amount derived from 20% of personnel salaries.
