What is Water Pollution? Water Pollution is when trash, dirt, contaminates, twigs, grass, oil, etc. get in your clean water source.

How do we Pollute? We pollute by littering. We pollute when company’s let smoke out into the air. We also pollute by oil spills. We pollute when people spray pesticides on their plants to make them grow faster.

What can it do? Water pollution can harm animals by oil spills and they can’t live in polluted water. People in poor country’s are forced to drink this polluted water. They have no choice. Animals and people can die from polluted water.

How can we help? Stop littering! When people throw trash on the ground it can really harm the environment. Clean up litter! If you see litter on the ground pick it up. Stop using pesticides on your plants! They can really harm the environment. Clean up water pollution! Find a way to stop it and clean it up.
