Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center Non-profit foundation since 1990 Serving Central Florida community Provides “Life Saving Education to Life Savers” Life Savers include 911 dispatchers, EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, nurses, physicians, and lay public who are called upon to respond to life threatening medical emergencies and disasters

Has Hosted 7 international conferences each year since 1980 Conferences have had significant positive economic impact for Orange County (anticipated to be almost $10 million annually by 2010) Works closely with UCF, community colleges, community hospitals, local EMS Agencies, and various public/private entities At leading edge of use of simulation and distance learning education EMLRC is part of Central Florida’s Medical Cluster Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center
