Intro to Coordinate Systems Stations Label a paper with your name, your group members, period, and today’s date.

Station 1 Watch the Powerpoint, “Solving for a Given Variable PPT.” Find it on spartansmathdolezal.wikispaces.com under Algebra 2. Answer questions on the back of your pretest. Use tablet to view the PPT.

Station 2 See Mrs. Dolezal’s site for links. If one doesn’t work, move on to the next. 1.Practice “Does it make the equation true?” 2.Practice Coordinate Plane Game.. 3.Complete Math Expression On-Line Practice. Play “Find the Aliens.”

Station 3 Complete the Problems 1 – 19 on the side of the worksheet labeled “ 3-8 Solving Equations and Formulas.” Need paper that was given out last class.

Station 4 Write the endpoints of each segment mapping Goldilock’s attitude during her story. Create a line graph for a character in another story. Include the character’s name & story. Draw & label the x-axis, y-axis & origin Label each endpoint of the line. Need paper for this.

Station 6 1.Using graph paper, make a coordinate plane by drawing the axis. 2.Write your first name and enough of your last name to have at least 10 line segments. Use all 4 quadrants. 3.Label the points of each of the segments.

Station 7 Complete the worksheet in this area designated as “Phineas” by following the directions to plot the shapes. Need paper that was given out last class.

Station 8 Correct answers from the table worksheet. Need paper that was given out last class.
