Bell Ringer 3 Minutes  Was it inevitable based on the history of this era that the colonists were to start their own nation and why or why not? USE EVIDENCE

Homework  Continue working on Cornell Notes chapter four reading and notes due today Friday October 11, 2013.

Word Study 2 Minutes  Great Awakening

If you would like to share out please raise your hand  H=help, please raise your hand  A=activity, we are creating a piece of your choice to demonstrate an understanding of a historical era.  M=movement, we are not.  P=participation means no heads down, no cell phones, we are reading and writing.

Performance Task (Quiz)  Create a poem, cartoon, MEL-con (4 paragraphs), and/or letter (from the POV of a person in the colonies during colonial times) that answers the Unit Essential Question “What can I learn about human nature through past actions and decisions?”  Due today 09/27/2013
