The Five Categories Sources of Information Informational Text Technology as a Tool Research Process Safety and Ethical Issues

What has changed from the NCSCOS for Information Skills and Technology? Both curriculums are now blended with each other. They are: Information and Technology Essential Skills. Both are now embedded within the Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies Essential Standards. They are no longer specific to computer applications or skills such as: using data base, spreadsheets, or learning the “home row keys”. They include collaboration within and outside of the classroom. They include online collaboration. The objectives found in the Standard: Technology as a Tool is the same throughout grades K-5.
