2 The Union – SOLIDARUMAS union combining trade unions and eployees associations from different business sectors Main activities: -Consultations on legal acts, social and economic basis -Representing in negotiations between employees and employers -Representing employees in the courts -Organizing training and leisure activities Union’s migration policy: to represent migrant’s and mobile workers interests on the basis of tolerance, to ensure their rights equality before the law Experience working with migrant/mobile workers: organize training, consultations for workers especially from Russia, Belarus and Moldova (training/courses and consultations concerning labour law and employees rights, language courses and training for upskilling depending on workers specialization) Experience working with SME’s: union can’t influence SME’s decisions do the training; union initiate training or courses. There is no special partnership with SME’s, only with eployees associations. Employees (employees association) -> Trade Union initiates training, courses, looking for trainees (There is no special training need analysis used)

3 The Union – Achema employees Trade Union The Company – Gaschema from Achema group Achema group - leading manufacturer of nitrogen fertilizers and chemical products in Lithuania and the Baltics. In 2008 Achema group allocated about 0.6 million EUR for personnel training and qualification upgrade. Training of every employee takes at least 40 hours every year. Gaschema main activity – gas trade. Staff complement with a diversity of professional backgrounds. The entire staff complement participates in training and qualification upgrade process: the Company organizes internal trainings and provides the possibilities of experience development abroad. Achema employees Trade Union Union’s migration policy: to represent migrant’s and mobile workers interests on the basis of tolerance and to protect their rights, to ensure their rights equality before the law Experience working with migrant/mobile workers: training, consultations for workers especially from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine (training/courses and consultations concerning labour law, social dialog, social partnership, management and negotiations) Experience working with SME’s: every two years company signs a collective labour contract and has developed longstanding traditions of constructive cooperation between the trade union and Company's administration. Union’s relationship with company is based on partnership and employees support. Union can give a recommendations for employees upskilling and regularly makes training needs analysis. Employees (employees association) -> Trade Union initiates training, courses, looking for trainees
