Campus Needs to be Aware of Commitment Becoming Carbon Neutral Will Require a Change In the Way We Do Business Brochures, Student, Faculty/Staff Articles, Campus Presentations, Campus-Wide Memos, etc. Work With Marketing/Communications
Hire a Sustainability Coordinator or Appoint a Project Manager Ensure They Have Time, Resources and High Level Support– This Will Be Time Consuming Development of the Climate Plan Is Not the End – Implementation, Tracking, Reporting, Modification and GHG Inventories Will Continue
Individuals Have Willingly Volunteered Units Not Previously Involved In Environment/Sustainability Are Engaged New Collaborations – Good Energy Highest Level of Involvement Is Critical Steering Workgroup Group Must Focus on Long-term Strategies…Not Just Low Hanging Fruit
