1.TO CREATE A STRONG NETWORK OF PARTNERS COOPERATING IN DEVELOPMENT OF THE “EUROPEAN CULTURAL ROUTE OF SAINTS CYRIL AND METHODIUS” WHAT DO WE WANT TO ACHIEVE? 2.TO CERTIFY THE EUROPEAN CULTURAL ROUTE OF SAINTS CYRIL AND METHODIUS WITHIN THE PROGRAM “CULTURAL ROUTE OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE”

ESTABLISH AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ASSOCIATING PARTNERS WHAT MUST BE DONE? PREPARE A STRATEGY OF THE EUROPEAN CULTURAL ROUTE OF SAINTS CYRIL AND METHODIUS FOR CERTIFICATION FULFILL THE AIMS OF THE STRATEGY OF THE EUROPEAN CULTURAL ROUTE OF SAINTS CYRIL AND METHODIUS SUBMIT THE DOCUMENT EUROPEAN CULTURAL ROUTE OF SAINTS CYRIL AND METHODIUS FOR CERTIFICATION

CREATION OF A NETWORK OF PARTNERS  Communication with potential partners from Slovakia, FYROM, Greece, Slovenia, Italy and Bulgaria with the aim of presenting to partners of the ECR CM current information and prepared events within the framework of the ECR CM  Establishment of the interest association of legal entities of the ECR CM STEPS LEADING TO CERTIFICATION OF THE “CULTURAL ROUTE OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE”  Elaboration of a strategy of fulfilling aims of five areas of the “European Cultural Route of Saints Cyril and Methodius”  Submittal of two projects for implementation of the Pilgrimage Trail of Saints Cyril and Methodius within the framework of the program INTERREG IV A in Moravia and Slovenia  Projects implemented within the framework of the Jubilee year 2013: celebration of 1,150 years since the arrival of Saints Cyril and Methodius WHAT HAVE WE ARLEADY DONE?

PROJECT “CERTESS” (INTERREG IVC)  Elaborated 34 good practices in the area of cultural routes (Mozart Route, Via Francigena, Via Benedicti, Oddysea, etc.)  Identified more than 80 managing and political instruments in the area of cultural routes  Preparation of an implementation plan for the European Cultural Route of Saints Cyril and Methodius WHAT TO LINK TO?  The project Velehrad 2013 involves implementation mainly within the CR a series of projects relating to the celebration of 1,500 years since the arrival of Saints Cyril and Methodius to Moravia Outcomes will be made available to partners of the European Cultural Route of Saints Cyril and Methodius IMPLEMENTED PROJECTS OF THE 1,500 YEAR JUBILEE

INTEREST ASSOCIATION OF LEGAL ENTITIES  Founders: Zlín Region, East Moravian Tourist Authority  Date founded: July 2013  Subject of activity:  Coordination of activity, publicity and marketing within the framework of ECR CM  Development of ECR CM within the framework of five areas fulfilling certification criteria according to the Resolution CM/Res(2007)12 on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe  Association statutory bodies:  General Meeting  Chair  Permanent Secretariat  founded according to the Civil Code of the Czech Republic ORGANIZATION OF THE ECR CM

MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE - CHART

ASSOCIATION  Members of the Association are signatories of the Contract of Association  One signatory will represent each country outside of the CR involved in the ECR CM  rights and obligations of members are derived from the Association’s Statutes  a so-called National Coordinator will represent each country  Members of the association provide financial contributions for the activity of the Association ROLES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE ROLES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE (a)

GENERAL MEETING  Highest statutory body of the Association  Authority  Manages fulfillment of the aims of the strategy  Decides on projects over EUR 100,000 implemented by more than three partners  Nominates and recalls the Chair  Changes the Statutes  Approves members in the Association  Issues internal standards and regulations  Sets the amount of membership contributions  Decides on asset management ROLES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE ROLES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE (b)

PERMANENT SECRETARIAT  Authorities of the Permanent Secretariat  Implementing decisions of the General Meeting  Calling and preparing the holding of the General Assembly at least 2x annually  Calling and preparing work meetings of the Permanent Secretariat and National Coordinators at least 1x per year  Preparation and negotiation of conceptual materials and other proposals relating to the activity of the Association, including a draft budget and their submittal to the General Meeting  Coordination or implementation of projects under the heading of the Association and their controlling  Close cooperation in terms of information, coordination and performance with the National Coordinators in individual countries  Broad communications on involvement in the ECR CM project in all countries  Guarantee of fulfillment of conditions of certification of ECR CM according to the program “Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe”  Coordinates and manages the activity of the Association  This is the executive, coordination and administrative component of the Association DESCRIPTION OF ROLES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

The ECR CM will strive to create multiple-source financing, in which not only public entities will take part, but also the private sector and the ECR CM’s own economic potential POSSIBILITIES OF FINANCING THE ORGANIZATION  Revenue from internal economic activity (self-financing)  Crowd funding  Foundations and gifts  Financing from the entrepreneurial sector (sponsoring)  European funds  Financing from the national level  Financing from indirect participants of the Association of ECR CM  Support of regional authorities  Membership dues The Association of the ECR CM will work based on an annual budget, which the General Meeting will approve, and the following sources of financing:
