The Bun – (The Introduction) One of the most difficult problems that Elizabeth had to face was the Spanish Armada. Philip sent a huge fleet to bring an army to England to defeat her and make England Catholic again. By a combination of luck, poor Spanish planning and English skill Elizabeth was able to defeat the Armada and save her throne.
