… exploring and expanding the options for the reproductive future of cancer survivors Why Create an App? Approximately 140,000 Americans under the age of 45 are diagnosed with cancer each year. While many patients have a good chance for survival, many risk losing their fertility as a result of cancer or its treatment. Currently, less than 50 percent of cancer patients receive adequate fertility information before treatment. The SaveMyFertility campaign developed provider and patient information materials that can be delivered via SmartPhone App or directly downloaded from the web.

An iSaveFertility iPhone App for health care providers that includes: Quick reference guides with fertility risks and options for female, male, and childhood cancer patients The ability to directly patients educational fact sheets in English or Spanish. SaveMyFertility.org is a web site that has provider guides and patient fact sheets that can be viewed and printed.
