How to Apply Make - up

Make - up Makeup is a very important part of a woman’s look and it can do wonders for your appearance, especially if you know how to apply makeup in the correct way for your face type and for the occasion. Celebrity women may have above average looks but they do not look as good as you think, a lot of the magic happens with great makeup.

Step 1: Cleansing the Face Put a cleansing cream on your face with the use of your two fingers. Make a dot on your cheeks, forehead, nose, chin, and neck. Then scatter the cream in a circular motion. Then, wipe it with facial wipe. Put enough amount of toner in a cotton ball. Then, apply in your face in outward direction.

Step 1: Cleansing the Face 3. Apply moisturizing cream. Spread over in a circular motion. Let it absorbed by your skin for a few minutes then you should wipe off any excess with a tissue so that your skin is not to greasy.

Step 2: Applying a Foundation Select the right foundation suited on our skin. Choose the one that is slight darker in your skin tone. Apply your foundation with a dampen makeup sponge or with your fingers by putting some dots on you nose, forehead, cheeks, chin and neck as needed. Now you can spread the foundation out with the sponge and with your fingers. It is great to start blending the foundation with your fingers because the heat will make it spread out better, then finish off with a moist sponge or brush if needed.

Step 3: Applying Press Powder With the use of your sponge, apply press powder on your face to balance the applied foundation in your face and for your skin to look finer.

Step 4: Applying Eyeshadow The eyes are the window to the soul and are the part of your makeup that will require the most time and patience to do. Knowing how to apply eye makeup is essential to look good and to have a good overall makeup style. When you are applying eye makeup you need various products varying from a few different eyeshadow tones, eyeliner, mascara and concealer.

Step 4: Applying Eyeshadow With the use of your eyelid brush, you should apply the light tone to the top part of your eyelids and on the brow bone. Then use the medium tone to color your eyelids by beginning at the inner canthus of the eye and stroking to the outer canthus of the eye lid. Then blend your eyeshadow tones. Make sure that you apply it in both eyes equally.

Step 5: Applying Eyeliner Eyeliner can give different effects depending on how you apply it. If you want your eyes to look wider then you start the line about one fourth away from the inside of the eye. The line should start out thin and get a little bit bigger on the edge. If your eyes are already wide apart then you can make them look closer together by making the line on the whole eyelid length.

Step 6: Applying Mascara Mascara makes the eyebrows look thicker and longer. When you apply mascara it is important that you look down into your mirror or that you tilt your head so that you can see the whole eyelashes and not just the tips. When applying the mascara use light strokes so that you can separate the lashes and get a nice coat of mascara that makes your lashes longer, darker and thicker. Don’t leave any clumps on your lashes because that will take the natural look away.

Step 7: Applying Cheek Color To apply blush you should smile and apply blush on your face apples or just under them using your brush. Don’t put a lot of blush on because if you have to blend it, then you have too much blush.

Step 8: Applying Lip Make - up The last step of your makeup routine is to apply your lipstick and your lip liner. Remember never to use a big color contrast between your lipstick and your lip liner. Apply lipstick in your lips. Apply lip liner to emphasize your lips. You can also apply lip shiner.

Step 9: Final Touch With the use of your brush, apply light amount of foundation in your face.

Remember: You should be in a lighted area to see that your make – up is evenly applied with an aid of your mirror.
