Nafretirl Curse by Katelyn Replogle

Long ago in ancient Egypt, there lived a queen, who just had a daughter named Nafretirl. Her name means beautiful creation.

When she was six, she was cursed by an evil god named Skemet.

Before Nafretirl’s curse was opened, her mom was really sad.

On her sixteenth birthday, the curse was opened.

She fainted on the floor. Everyone ran away because they thought they were next.

She was brought to a high tower hidden in the Libyan Desert.

It was a very undersized room. She was thinking of ways to escape.

As the princess was thinking of ways to escape, her mother was sending the bravest mummies to search and rescue her.

When the bravest mummy was found, he was sent off on the quest.

When he reached the tower, he unwrapped himself to greet the princess. He also brought some food.

When he reached the top, the princess greeted him. They had a quick talk. Then,they escaped down the same way he arrived.

The cruse was broken when she escaped from the tower. Skemet disintegrated in thin air.

When they returned, they decided to get married. Everyone lived happily ever after.
