Need for Information Access to suitable cancer information is consistently shown to be one of the main priorities for patients and carers. Information about cancer is also part of a much wider remit which needs to include health promotion, raising awareness of cancer risks, survivorship and living with cancer.

Background Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Bus visited MCCN this year for 13 days going to: Jaguar Car Factory, Liverpool City centre, Chester, Wirral Show, Wirral Coastal Walk, Multi cultural centre and Mosque Liverpool, Southport and CCO open day In the 13 days we have had 1,815 contacts Bid to National Cancer Action Team has been successful for MCCN own Health Vehicle for 15 month project
