STARTER

Which three tools did we use last week? Have you heard of either the clone stamp or blur tool before? What do you think each of these does? When you have answers to these questions, and your teacher will be asking so make sure you have, you may find some pictures to use this lesson. Appropriate images only!

MAIN TASK ONE Today we are going to create a head swop! Using two of your images and the skills from last week and theis week perform miracles! Your teacher will briefly demonstrate the skills you need, if you are unsure at any point remember you can always ask those around you and when you have been asked to start, sometimes Google really can be your friend and you can be an independent learner! To develop an understanding of the clone stamp and blur tools in Photoshop. To be able to use prior Photoshop knowledge of the quick selection, move and rubber tools to create an effective and authentic image

MAIN TASK ONE Using the skills you know and have just learnt begin to design and create your own head swop! Remember the tools you need are the rubber, quick selection, move, clone stamp and blur To develop an understanding of the clone stamp and blur tools in Photoshop. To be able to use prior Photoshop knowledge of the quick selection, move and rubber tools to create an effective and authentic image

MINI PLENARY Can you explain to the person next to you how layers have been used in this task? Can you prove you progress against the lesson objectives so far? Have you created or used any other tools that were not demonstrated, share your success and failures with a friend. Your teacher may ask you some questions too! To develop an understanding of the clone stamp and blur tools in Photoshop. To be able to use prior Photoshop knowledge of the quick selection, move and rubber tools to create an effective and authentic image

MAIN TASK TWO Create another head swop! This time make sure you use ALL of the tools we have been using so far they are; Quick Selection Move Rubber Clone Stamp Tool Blur Tool If you are having trouble a good way to use the clone stamp tool is putting a male face on a female body, you can then remove long hair etc. To develop an understanding of the clone stamp and blur tools in Photoshop. To be able to use prior Photoshop knowledge of the quick selection, move and rubber tools to create an effective and authentic image

PLENARY Your teacher will guide you to a worksheet. Open the worksheet and; Identify each tool highlighted Explain what it does and more importantly how you have used it today. Spend a few minutes and reflect on the progress you have made over the past few lessons, what can you do now that you couldn’t at the start of term? To develop an understanding of the clone stamp and blur tools in Photoshop. To be able to use prior Photoshop knowledge of the quick selection, move and rubber tools to create an effective and authentic image
